Introduction

Welcome to the Apicunia API Documentation.

Our APIs help businesses securely verify payee and beneficiary account details before payments are processed. By validating account ownership and banking information in real time, the platform helps reduce fraud, payment errors, and failed transactions.

The API suite is designed for financial institutions, fintech platforms, payment providers, and businesses that need reliable payee verification workflows integrated directly into their systems.

Apicunia provides regulatory compliance for Financial Institutions and Payment Service Providers (PSPs).

Operating within the European Payments Council’s (EPC) Verification of Payee (VOP) Scheme, Apicunia is a fully EPC Certified Routing and Verification Mechanism (RVM), able to operate as both a VOP Requestor and a VOP Responder.
